The main theme of the album "Realm of North" (which is the personal blackgaze project of Tassi) are spiritually originated from his own long prose collection "Passage to Caelum·Deva" in the WeChat platform “Being of Nothingness”. The conceptual background of this album is connected to the story sequel of the song "Leave·Abhassara Deva" of Bliss-Illusion. The language of the lyrics is personally created by Tassi (i.e., the language of the realm of Caelum·Deva).

The story background of "Realm of North II" is based on the intriguing journey that the troubadour Tassi has experienced along his way to find his beloved one Uni. He opened the ancient literature of dreams, while entering the book, deciphered the bountiful richness and the decline and fall of Caelum·Deva. Then the era of Netherworld started to descend, Devas realized that they do not actually exist in eternity, just a living dream of Saha place. Sadly, Tassi returned from the book back to this life, and decided to carry on this endless journey, until he met Uni again.

A Light In The Dark is one of the more unique bands in the young and growing "Blackgaze" micro-genre. Their style of screams mixed with cleans reminds me of early metalcore or certain screamo bands from my childhood. This raw sentimentality is very much appreciated Logan (???)
